The current COVID-19 situation means that a lot of people are having to take their business online, and a popular way to do this is through the video meeting software Zoom. Therapists, fitness and yoga instructors, and consultants are among those using Zoom to interact with their clients, by hosting video meetings, online classes, and webinars.
Our appointment booking system now seamlessly integrates with Zoom, so your customers can quickly and easily book your online meetings or classes/webinars. It also significantly reduces your admin time, as the whole scheduling process from booking, to payment, to setting up the Zoom meeting is taken care of by the system. You can read more about our appointment booking system here.
How does it work?
It’s simple really. Once the booking system is set up on your website and connected to Zoom, you can start taking bookings straight away.
When a service, class or webinar is booked, this schedules a meeting in your Zoom account. The customer will automatically receive a link to join the meeting in their email confirmation, and you will receive a link to start the meeting in your emails, too (you can also access your Zoom links from the appointments area of your website – visible only to you – or via your Zoom account).

You both receive the Zoom meeting link via email
You can either host 1:1 meetings (ideal for consultations or 1:1 classes), or group meetings (perfect for classes, events or workshops).
How much does it cost? Are there any fees?
The appointment booking system is much cheaper than most of the others out there, and costs an affordable one-off fee rather than a high monthly cost. The price also includes full set-up!
Integrating the booking system costs a one-off price of £60. If you’d like to receive regular updates (eg. new features when they become available), then it needs to be renewed on an annual basis at a cost of £55/year.
The booking system takes no commission or monthly fees – the only fees you’ll pay are transaction fees by Stripe (1.4% + 20p per booking) or PayPal (2.9% + 30p per booking)* if you choose to take payments online.
You will also need a Zoom account. You can use Zoom for free, but the free version has some limitations. For example, it is limited to up to 100 participants, and group meetings of 3 or more can only be a maximum of 40 minutes long. The Pro Zoom plan is £11.99/month*.
* Fees correct as of 29/04/2020.
You will need a WordPress website running PHP version 5.5 or higher. If you don't have a WordPress website, we can move your existing website into WordPress for a one-off fee of £175.
You will also need a Zoom account (free or paid).
To connect the booking system to Zoom, you need to supply us with an API key and Secret key from the Zoom App Builder. We can walk you through this, or we can set it up for you if we are provided with your Zoom account login details.
No, your customers don't need a Zoom account in order to join a meeting or webinar, but they will need to download the Zoom app to their mobile or PC.
