Where to Source Free Stock Photos

Free Stock Photos

Every website, blog post, social media post or piece of printed media needs good quality, high resolution photography. It’s not always possible to take the photos you need yourself, which is what stock photos are for. Whilst you can pay for images from websites such as iStock and Getty Images, this is an expensive solution, particularly if you regularly need photos for blogging or social media posts. Thankfully, a few websites exist that allow you to use their stock images for free.

Pixabay is an online community of photographers and creatives sharing copyright free stock images and videos. All content is released under Creative Commons CC0, meaning the images can be copied, modified, distributed, and used even for commercial purposes, all for free and without asking for permission or giving credit to the artist. There are millions of images on Pixabay, from professional photography to vector graphics and even video footage.
